ATG Injection is an infusion of rabbit or horse derived antibodies against human T-cells, indicated to use in the treatment as well as prevention with patients of acute rejection in organ transplant and therapy of aplastic anemia.

  • Renal transplantation: Most common adverse reactions include fever, chills, rash, flare, chest or back pain, diarrhea, headache, nausea, vomiting and night sweats.
  • Aplastic anemia: Most common adverse reactions include fever, skin reactions, joint stiffness, foot sole pain, muscle ache, diarrhea and vomiting.
Warnings and Precautions
  • Only physicians experienced in immunosuppressive therapy in the treatment of aplastic anemia or renal transplant patients should take ATGAM.
  • Patients with ATG Injection should be treated in facilities equipped as well as staffed with proper and adequate laboratory and supportive medical resources.
  • The use of highly acidic infusion solutions should be avoided while on ATMAG because of possible physical instability over time.
