Commonly asked questions:

Goserelin specifically belongs to the class of drugs named Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) analogues.

Bone pain, headache, hot flushes, stomach upset, difficulty urinating, depression, weight gain, decreased erections and reduced sexual desire are the common goserelin side effects.

The recommended dose of Goserelin injection should be administered by subcutaneous injection as an implant every 28-days for the duration of the treatment.

Classified as a LHRH agonist, goserelin works in order to tell the pituitary gland placed in the brain to interrupt producing the luteinizing hormone, which (in men) stimulates the testicles in order to release testosterone and (in women) stimulates the ovaries in order to release estrogen.
